Monochrome Collection is inspired by botanical plant structures, patterns in nature, cells under a microscope and then stylised by my imagination. Whilst at school and not particularly good at sciences, it was the diagrams and illustrations of cellular structural, dissection and the natural form that always fascinated me. Even in my art lessons and to this day, I would much rather zoom in at look at the pattern of algae on a rock over drawing/painting the beautiful landscape in front of me.
