Bristol Upholstery Collective / Money For Nothing, BBC
19 Sept 2019
My parents are avid fans of Money for Nothing, BBC like lots of people, watching someone's trash become someone else's treasure after having being transformed by an incredible craftsperson in the UK.
Sarah Moore, the presenter, rescued this ottoman from a recycling centre and asked Leigh-Anne Treadwell, from Bristol Upholstery Collective Ltd, to give it a new lease of life! Leigh-Anne approached me about using my linen and the rest is history!

The ottoman was missing one end so Leigh-Anne created a new one to mirror the original. She also kept the storage facility under the main seat by adding hinges.
I don't know about you, but I love watching the process of upholstery and witnessing all the different layers and techniques. Poor Leigh-Anne was so patient with all my questions and hovering around taking pictures.
What a beauty and even better that my linen is apparently beautiful to work with, texture and consistency wise. Thank you Bristol Upholstery Collective and Money for Nothing! This ottoman was snapped up by a hotel in Essex and hopefully is a lovely spot for people to relax on...
